Children's art

Each Warm Hands project creates more than 300 unique works by the children receiving psycho-social care. These items include paintings on canvas and wood, candlesticks, icons on glass, graphics, ceramics, pottery, jewelry. These items are created with the assistance of master artists and with cultural preservation in mind. These works are the result of a deep internal transformation process. Now imagine that these works are just lying in a box. Or they could become a source of hope, confidence, and self esteem – give children an understanding that they are capable, skilled…valuable – and help raise funds for the future sessions helping other children! UCHI receives works made by the children from each of the sessions of the Warm Hands program. We sell them with every penny raise going to fund future programs. The boost that the children get from knowing that someone cares, that someone – in America! – would spend money on something they created. An emotional and psychological boost that cannot be stated in words. They are helping their country, their people!

The future of a country lies in the hands of its children!

UCHI and Piaternia are helping to ensure that the children of Ukraine have a sound base on which to rebuild and prosper. Most of the works are signed by the child who created them. A personal testament and a poignant gift or collector’s item.
